Add or remove users

Add or remove users from Socratic

Socratic makes a distinction between users and contributors:

• Users are Socratic seat holders, with access to the features and capabilities of Socratic.

• Contributors are those people whose Jira work activity is instrumented by Socratic. They are auto-discovered by Socratic. Contributors are not seat holders and do not have access to Socratic.

To add new users:

1. Click "Add users" in the left sidebar.

2. Enter their email address at the top of screen.

To deactivate existing users:

1. Click "Add users" in the left sidebar.

2. Click on any user's "Active" status. Clicking on their status will change it to its opposite (active/deactivated).

Deactivated users lose access to Socratic, and no longer appear in the app.
